Accomodations

Currently, on offer is a choice of accommodation in two villages on campus and the following is an overview:

Goldcrest Village, situated on the main campus is a modern complex comprising 76 mainly 6 bedroom self-catering apartments, all with en suite bedrooms. All apartments have their own living/dining areas with a fully equipped kitchen and the residences also host their own shop, launderettes, café and tennis courts. Delegates will be allocated to apartments with either 5 or 6 bedrooms sharing with their group. Corrib Village, situated in a village setting along the banks of the River Corrib on the main campus is a complex of apartments with a capacity for up to 764 people. Delegates will be allocated to apartments of either 3 or 4 bedrooms sharing with their group. Unfortunately Corrib Village Apartments are not fully en-suite and bathrooms are shared. The standard apartments have 2 bathrooms (sharing ratio 1:3 max) and the en-suite apartments have 3 bathrooms (sharing ratio 1:2 max). The University is currently also developing another campus residence called Dunlin Village.
Dunlin will be available for Summer 2024 with similar style apartments and features as
Goldcrest. We will share further information with you about Dunlin Village soon.
Will also confirm rates for all campus accommodation options in due course.

University Accommodation

University Accommodation
The University’s campus residences, located within a 10-minute walk of the conference venue, boast over 1,100 beds, and an additional 674 are due to open in 2023. There are also over 2,000 student beds located off campus.

Hotels

Galway boasts a first-class accommodation structure. In the last few years, there has been a significant increase in the number
of hotel beds available in the city. As well as established, high quality local operators, most of the major international hotel chains are now present in Ireland.

Other Accommodation

Many fine bed and breakfasts, guesthouses and holiday home/apartment rentals are within easy walking distance of the congress venue and are popular choices with conference delegates and tourists alike. For information please refer to Galway’s Tourist Office.
